Mark burst out in laughter and took a pledge that he will look into the matter with utmost priority. The whole auditorium acknowledged that the undesired Candy Crush notification is a serious threat to their patience. Facebook has provided an option to turn of game notifications, but by the time you get to know the way out, you will be crushed by notifications from Candy Crush itself and many other games. Zuckerberg prolptly replied, saying, “I sent a message to the person who runs the team in charge of our developer platform, and I said that by the time I do this town hall Q&A, it would be good if we had a solution to this problem.”

Later on Zuck clarified that till now there were other actions that held higher priorities. He did not know that game requests were annoying people in such a high rate. Once i t has been reported, he will try to resolve the issue as fast as possible.

“We hadn’t prioritized shutting that down, we just had other priorities. But if this is the top thing that people care about, we’ll prioritize that and do it,” he said and the crowd gave him a long round of applause. We hope Zuck keep his words and spare us from the misery very soon.
