The smart devices have already started taking care of our health. While wearable smart devices like smartwatches and gears helps in checking heartbeat rate and pulse rate, the tiny smart lenses of Novartis and Google keeps track of glucose level. Now it’s time for Samsung Note 4 to play a role in taking care of your skin. Yes, it will prompt you in applying sunscreen when the UV level reaches a threshold value.

According to Sam Mobile, the new sensor of Galaxy Note 4 will prompt you whenever the UV index crosses a threshold limit and suggest precautions. The tracking won’t happen automatically. Every time the user wants to know he/she has to hold the device “over 60 degree angle of elevation towards the sun against the back of the sensor”. Besides this it will have the heartrate monitor as well.

Galaxy Note 4 will analyse the harm caused from UV rays from a Low level to Extreme level and give you relevant suggestions like wearing sunglasses, applying sunscreen, and avoiding going out even only when it senses chance of extreme harm.

Full recommendations are available on EPA’s site. Galaxy Note 4 will launch at the IFA 2014 to ve held at Berlin in September 2014.
