Steps To Turn Off Face Recognition On Facebook

  1. First, login to your Facebook account, click on the down arrow located at the top right corner of the website. Now, go to Settings.                               
  2. In the left panel, you will find Face Recognition. Click on it.                                                 
  3. In the right panel, you will find the Face Recognition option. It says, “To recognise whether you’re in a photo or video, our system compares it with your profile picture, and photos and videos that you’re tagged in. This lets us know when you’re in other photos and videos so that we can create a better experience.” Click on the Edit option.   
  4. Now click on the drop down menu, select  No to turn off face recognition.
