Qualcomm’s new technology that will triple Wi-Fi speeds

Qualcomm's new technology will increase wifi speed

Wireless fidelity or better say Wi-Fi is ought to be enhanced with an increased speed especially when OuterNet technology is on the verge if activation. Wi-Fi standards introduced plans of WiGig products that is going to provide faster connectivity with latest MU-Mimo (multi-user, multiple input, and multiple output) technology announced by Qualcomm.

MIMO technology has already gathered attention in wireless communications owing to the significant increases in data throughput and link range without additional bandwidth. MU-Mimo is Multi users MIMO which is an additional advantage. The company has stated that “Using MU-MIMO is like using the carpool lane: the Wi-Fi Highway doesn’t change, but grouping up with other users lets you go much faster while de-congesting the other lanes.” So as in Wi-Fi people get served one at a time while the others wait in a queue, MU-MIMO allows data to be transmitted to multiple groups of users to avoid congestion. The network speeds will double its value as claimed by Qualcomm.
The technology will reach us within the first quarter of 2015.
