NASA has enabled us to see some amazing phenomena of the world either through pictures, videos or graphics. Since many days NASA has been supplying photos of Pluto and then different aspects of Mars Mission. Finally on Friday, NASA published thousands of photos of the project Apollo to Flickr. It has been reported that the Project Apollo Mission has published 8400 high resolution amazing pictures on Flickr.com.

“Around 2004, Johnson Space Center began re-scanning the original Apollo Hasseelblad camera film magazines, and Eric Jones and I began obtaining TIFF (uncompressed, high-resolution) versions of these new scans on DVD,” Kipp Teague, who heads up the project, said to The Planetary Society. “These images were processed for inclusion on our websites, including adjusting color and brightness levels, and reducing the images in size to about 1,000 dpi (dots per inch) for the high-resolution versions.”

The huge collection of the amazing images consist of photographs taken by the Project Apollo astronauts during their missions. The pictures show the different historic moments from the Apollo 11 and the final Moon mission, Apollo 17.
