Google rebrands Google Apps for Work as G Suite

One its 16th Birthday, Google made several big announcements. One is definitely the Andromeda operating system which will be the combination of Android and Chrome operating system. The other one is the improved Google App suite. Google has planned to refurbish and rebrand Google Apps for work and rename it as G Suite. Moreover, the company has also announced that it will enhance Google clouds with more and more services than ever before.

Google Cloud will now incorporate the all new Google Cloud Platform. Google Cloud platform adds many services like Google Cloud Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage etc. It also includes a plethora of business-oriented products, such as machine learning tools, enterprise Maps API, Android and Chromebooks. Google Cloud will encompass G Suite, which is the consolidation of products such as Gmail, Docs, Calendar, hangout and Drive for Work under a single suite. This has been done to bring more people together with realtime collaboration built in from the start.

The G Suite will allow easy information exchange between the different apps under the Suite so that work can be done in a more flexible and efficient environment.
